Elizabeth and her husband are avid animal lovers and caregivers. They rescue senior dogs with special needs and a kitten from Hurricane Harvey. Recently, they have added a rescue Belgian draft horse, named Bubbles. When Elizabeth is not caring for her four-legged family, she is working in the yard or weather permitting her vegetable garden. Elizabeth is a board member for a local animal nonprofit, the local school board and the local credit union.
